Convertible Tops by Robbins
1979-81 TR7 TR8
These Tops are designed for easy installation and original fit. Quality preshrunk, waterproof material finished in continental crush grain leatherette is used. All seams are stitched with Dacron thread and dielectrically heat sealed into the tops, as are the AS6 certified plastic windows. Installation instructions are included. #9-341 Comes in Black On Black or Tan On Tan (#9-341 only.) Fasteners are supplied, but not installed. #9-341-BB and #9-341-TT will come with a zipper rear window (ZRW). INSTALLATION TIP: Use chalk to coat the top of the fastener already on the car. Position the top and stretch the material to the proper placement. Push in against the coated fastener, leaving a mark on the top where the fasteners are to be installed. Retainer Bar and Header Rails are NOT supplied with Convertible Tops, you must reuse old ones. Tension straps are not included, nor available; transfer original straps to new top. |
