| The fuel pump is the heart of your fuel system. It's responsible for the delivery of the fuel from the tank to the carburetor. If it's not working properly, it prevents fuel from reaching the carburetor. If this occurs, your car won't start. A faulty fuel pump may start your car, but when you accelerate, your engine will stall due to lack of fuel. In some rare instances a bad fuel pump can also deliver too much fuel to the carburator causing the same symptoms. Why take a chance on your old fuel pump, order a new fuel pump today.
