| The Coventry Hood & Sidescreen company was taken under Tickford's wing in May 1989. Trim Technology bought out the Tickford soft trim manufacturing division at Bedford in August 1995. All original BL Soft tops are made by Coventry Hood using the original build bucks and tooling. Tops are manufactured using a material that is as close as possible to the "OE" specification. The design is as the original, including false bottoms, rain channels and zip out rear windows. The Coventry Hood name that Trim Technology markets the product under, has always stood for a quality product that is as close to the original as possible. People know that when purchasing a top from Trim Technology, they are getting the best possible product available on the market for their vehicle. Top fasteners are included but not installed. Fastener Installation Tip: Use chalk to coat the top of the fastener already on the car. Position the top and stretch the material to the proper placement. Push in against the coated fastener, leaving a mark on the top where the fasteners are to be installed. Retainer Bar and Header Rails are NOT supplied with convertible Tops, you must reuse old ones. | ||||||||
